“Postcolonial Counter-Images” presents a selection of contemporary artworks from various disciplines—from printmaking to video art and from performance to installation—that address the remembering and forgetting of the German colonial era in present-day Namibia. The result is the first comprehensive art historical research study on the artistic engagement with German-Namibian history.
